What's your motivation?
There are many different reasons that someone chooses to take lessons. Maybe you've played by ear for years and want to know what you're doing and why. Perhaps you saw your first concert and was blown away. You love music, you're creative, so why not? If you're not sure why you're doing it, it's a great idea to figure it out.Sometimes it can be difficult to know where to start as a beginner. There is tons of information out there, but in what order should you learn things? Too often, a potentially great musician will frustrate themselves out of the game by trying to learn and comprehend something that is a few levels out of their current ability. That's why structure is so important. Having someone to guide you, answer your musical questions and give you material to move progress forward is why we're here. We're glad to help everyone who decides to become a player - or be a better player - with also becoming a musician. Practice? Nope. Play? Yes! Please share your story with us here.
